Pair of NVA Cube 1s, bought new from NVA a couple of years ago. (New price £1400.)
They present a typically transparent NVA "clean window" sound, with impressive dynamics and a deep and tuneful bass.
Excellent condition. Perfect working order. Selling to raise funds.

£1149

See here (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161142364440?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649) for details.

The speakers weigh around 15kg each, and I want to avoid posting. I am happy to drive with the speakers to within an hour's drive of Gloucester (e.g. to Bristol, Cardiff, Swindon, SW Birmingham) for £25 to cover my petrol.

I was given a demo of these speakers at NVA and was very impressed indeed.

What are you replacing them with?

Thanks for the vote of confidence. :) I have been incredibly pleased with the cubes for a while now.
To answer your question - Paul of RFC has completed a quality refurb on some 1973 Goodmans Goodwoods for me (that I picked up on ebay with an old receiver for £55). Paul's done a top job on the cross overs, internal wiring and a few other bits and bobs, and the Goodwoods now sound fantastic (before they sounded merely...interesting). They are a very different speaker to the Cubes, but unfortunately, financially I'm not in a position right now to have a surplus of relatively (for me) pricey bits of kit hanging about, thus the Cubes' sale.

55 quid? Fantastic, that is sure to ease the pain of selling the Cubes. He's a top man is Mr Coupe and am sure he has extracted every last drop of performance from them.

Good luck with the sale!

Thank you sir.
Agreed about Paul - he know his onions, is utterly committed to thoroughness in the engineering process and a thoroughly decent human being.
