This has a new belt and a bottle of silicone fluid. More pictures if required. Audition welcome, will meet up to 50 miles for fuel costs. Much better than a risky postage option.

Without arm and cart but including custom arm boards and a few spare ones. Various thicknesses and alloy tops plus it was given the once over by Audio Origami.
Has cost me in excess of £600. No rush to sell, needs to go to the right person. As I said would welcome anyone wishing to see in the flesh.

Is the R200 for sale?

I can separate if I have interest in all. I've played it with a budget Ortofon, AT.120e and a superb Denon 304mc. They
all sounded good but the Denon took the biscuit. Someone made an offer that would not buy a good Rega P3. Not on really. Come and have a look and a listen. Not only sounds the part but certainly looks it. A real head turner. Sound and Style.

Hi Mike.

I'm still not too clear what you want for this but if you are aiming to recoup the stated expenditure I think that sounds a very fair amount judging by Ebay prices. Would certainly consider this at the price if I didn't own it's more modern successor. Cheaper than a good 401 plus arm or a modded Techie.

Paul the more I look at it the more I think " Why not keep it" Yes it's not the only one of it's kind by a long way. But! it is in excellent condition and that I feel is rare given the age of these. As I said, I have a few blank arm boards and the one fitted is a bespoke stainless polished steel. Really looks the business. I don't really need to sell it, although because of space confinements it is preventing me from use of my 401. It more needs to go to the right buyer or enthusiast of Michell's. I could also see it ending up in some yuppie pad or a shop window selling upmarket HI FI.
Might as well just enjoy it until fate takes it course.
My nephew says keep it and he can have it when I pop my clogs.!!!

Rgds.

We'll Andre, You seem to be taking a real interest, I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. It's not worth it to you! Fine. Leave others to judge for themselves. I've said I'm open to anyone auditioning and can supply a multitude of photo's.
I'm not even hell bent on selling, and I'm no Del Boy. Can we/you leave the thread alone. Anyone who wants to contact me can, or not for that matter!

Ok Mike. I just got the impression the sale was off or i wouldnt have posted. I take great interest when i see that people are not getting facts over variations right.

However i will remove the above post just for you.. Good luck with the sale :)

Final statement, Its a Mitchell Ref. Hydraulic. Rega arm, bespoke armboard, choice of cartridges. ANY inspection welcome. If it floats your boat, fine, if not so be it.
