Does anyone know where you can get replacment push button caps for a nait 1.

A full set of suitable alternatives if they cannot be matched would also do.

1 went missing when it was put away for decorating.

Thanks
Iain

Can't Naim help?

Are they not the same as the one's say Sugden used on their amps in the 80's ?

I have one from a Musical Fidelity Synthesis amp. It looks practically the same (I have a Nait 1), if very slightly different. If I had a set of 4 you could have had them, but I only have 2 and I'm looking for 7 myself.

The last Nait 1 I saw on eBay had a Buy Now price of £500. So how's about 20 quid for a knob !?! Only joking! Only joking! If you want it you can have it if you want to provide an address.

That is very kind, thank you very much. Will PM my address.

Iain

P.S. I bought the nait second hand in the late 80s for £165, then sold it to a friend with Linn Index speakers for about the same in the 90s, now it is coming back, without the button.

If I can find a supplier I'll get you a set. The shagged Synthesis I have came with part of the switchbank and buttons missing. I think it has been dropped and they sheared off. Anyway it needs the switches replacing plus 6 buttons and one for the power switch. Years ago Maplins used to stock them, but they don't now.

Thanks,

when I get it, I will try to get accurate measurements froma button, I take it you have had a look at farnell's for the switch and button, much bigger choice than Mapllin.
When I looked for the nait, they had stopped doing the one that looked closest to the naim button.

Well it's not new to be honest being something like 30 years old. I did give it a really good polish though Ian.

I have tried one or two suppliers but not Farnell. One time Maplins used to stock the red and black variety. Sadly they now don't stock the range of components they once did.

Glad it arrived.
