I'm sitting here waiting for the Grand Prix to start and listening to some Bach playing on the Mac and I can't keep my feet from jumping up and down.

The speakers are home built!! Celestion HF1300 and KEF B200 with the standard Celestion Ditton 15 crossover, not yer average computer speakers. The B200 is usually fed by pretty complex crossovers I think, to get rid of all its problems and smooth it out. I always find it a bit dead in others I have heard. The Ditton cossovers are very simple.

Perhaps we worry too much about dead ruler straight response. These speakers rock and the bass is lively and crisp and I am not aware of any problems because the music takes over completely. Classical guitar sounds right to me.

Note the class surroundings!!! This room is about 92rd on my 'to do' list:doh:

I still have the bass units upstairs. Sadly the speakers had been trashed and the ABRs destroyed. Love that tweeter though (HF1300). I now have three pairs in various speakers. I think the XR had a different one though?
