Hi all i'm Martin from Hartlepool,a long time forum lurker but first time forum member.
I'm just beginning to put a computer audio system together and so far it comprises of a couple of laptops, various usb dacs(mostly chinese and a caiman standac), a decrepit Marantz amp and my newest recruits are a pair of Heybrook HB3S(seriously ugly with no missus pleasing potential whatsoever but i love them to bits).
My musical tastes include electronica, prog rock and general downtempo chill out stuff with a bit of Yello thrown in every now and then.

Hello from another Martin and welcome to AoS! Good luck with your system building, you'll find a lot of good advice here.

Hello and welcome from another North East member. There's a good contingent on here now and we're a sociable bunch too.

There's another bake off/social on the 30th Nov organised by Steve (floyddroid) and they usually happen in Hartlepool. Its a good way to meet folks and hear some nice kit too. I'm sure Steve will be along shortly with the details.

Hi from a Geordie and fellow Yello fan. I've always wanted to hear HB3s but not managed yet. They seem a lot of speaker for the money.

Welcome Martin. Good to have another fellow Pooly on the forum. There is a myriad of music, equipment and damn fine people here for you to tap into. Enjoy!
As Rich said, we are having another get together at the end of November so why not come along? I think he beat me to it sending you the link.
