For Sale - Beolab 5000 Amplifier

Time to bite the bullet times are hard and need funds for xmas so here goes.

For sale my little beauty that i recently purchased and after a headache off buying new connectors and a good clean inside i got the tape , tuner , aux inputs to work and mighty fine the did to..now the bad bit the phono stage is temperamental may need another clean or a warm up as not been used in many many years. The condition is fair for a 1968 unit there is spot of rust underneath which with age of being sat for so long. It works fine in stereo now all the sliders work as the should and silent they are too. I can demo the item up on inspection or will carriage and buyers expense but will be expensive as it weights 10.5kg. Price wise im starting at £200 ONO sensible ones maybe accepted try me. Also there is spot of rust inside to but will take better pics. The item is in rosewood there is 2 veneer strips lifting from the top cover but can easily be put right.

Reducing it to £120 as the phono section is temperamental all other inputs are fine and working if a touch cable fussy...

Have sprayed the phono switch it does work but cable sensitive....one channel is fine the other has no scale or bass its there but something is missing..

I would have been very interested a couple of months back Nigel but I'm skint at the moment :(

To be honest I'll just be giving it a service, having a play & then reselling it anyway but I'll be sure to point any prospective buyers in your direction for the tuner when I do :thumbsup:
