For those not already aquainted, these are RFC's Reference Pluto cables:

What makes these different from any other run of the mill cable?

Perhaps this review will provide some answers:

What I can tell you is that for the specification and quality on offer, they are some of the best value high quality leads available.

They use one of Furutech's excellend heavily screened coax cables which are expertly married to Eichmann's Tellurium Copper Bullet plugs using Cardas Quad Eutechtic solder. The individual conductors are reinforced at the joints to reduce any risk of long term use and abuse shorting out or damaging the connections and the standard of soldering is very high indeed.

They are also very flexible leads.

Part of their secret lies in the low impedance across the connector joints, the low capacitance design of the plugs and the excellent earthing contact which helps minimise noise floor.

At under £100 per stereo metre, isn't it worth a shot trying the Plutos? They may well embarrass some rather more expensive cable in your set-up! For the little that remains in October, there is also 10% OFF each pair and they can be made to any length.

Would love to put these through their paces in my system Paul but the old piggy bank is a tad empty right now.

Jerry has very similar tastes to mine in system presentation so I believe his review of the Pluto has a lot of credibility with me

I use them in my own system Frank along with the Venus and am very happy with them.
