I currently am using the Heresy II's and am tempted in trying the IIIs, the current model

Is there anyone using the III's that have also heard the II's, and if so is it worth the upgrade? It's quite a lot of extra money to get the III's but I maybe tempted if they are a lot better

I love the II's though

Thanks for any help ;)

I'm far, far, far & far away from Southall as I'm typing this :)

Well I hope you're enjoying yourself in that sunshine!

By the way, what are those funny little speakers in your avatar? Surely you'd prefer some proper, serious units? :)

I've never owned or at least heard any Klipsch Heresy series loudspeakers, Bev. I've only heard they are an ''acquired taste'' type of loudspeaker !!

I would kinda agree with that statement, but once you acquire the taste nothing else will do.... I can't put my finger on it but It's maybe got something to do with their 'fast' and accurate sound; as they are horn loaded they have tiny diaphragms (apart from the bass driver, of course), and a horn loading for both the mid and tweeter drivers

There is something very 'real' about these Heritage speakers from Klipsch, and I urge anyone to try them out, as you maybe surprised by them :D:D

I have listened to the La Scalas and to date they are the best speaker I've ever heard. Unfortunately I just don't have the room for them :( :(

I've owned Heresy II. Very briefly.

Awful things.

OK - they are bouncy and fun, but in no way do they sound realistic!

Just my opinion. ;)

I figured you'd be somewhere in that region. Have fun! We've supposedly got a minor hurricane coming tonight here. We'll see.
