HI folks,
due to the return of a pair of Q 2050i speakers I thought i'd sold, (to big for the ahem..customers wife!!) I find myself in need of a better quality amp than the new Marantz pm 6004 I am using at present.

anyone have anything suitable for 120quid or less??.

the Marantz (what hifi award winner..as new, box, remote, receipt and 6 months warranty) will be available pending a replacement

living in hope...NIGE.

Go to that well known auction site and look for a SONY TA-F940R, these can be had for relative peanuts- powerful, very smooth and dynamic, but above all very, very musical.

I bought that amp above today and picked it up from CC in Stirling (apols to the OP if he was the other bidder-there was only two).

Fantastic amp, a complete bargain and it sounds wonderful, a keeper I think.

I had one of these below it didn't come close to this one hence the reason why I moved it on.

Have a bump on me:cool:
