Hi all
Just thought I would give myself a quick intro. Just getting back into a hifi after a forced break and having to sell all my kit.

Got in touch with David at Radlett Audio who furnished me with an amp, CD player and interconnect. Still all burning in but sounds great with the rega r3s I have.

In the past I have built systems my Arcam, Cyrus, Consonance etc. I am starting again from scratch (long story!) so at the moment I have a Rega Apollo-r as my source, Rega Brio-r, R3 speakers, couple interconnect and Atlas Hyper 3 speaker cable. I am wondering whether i change the cable or not!??

I like listening to all kinds of music including Muse, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters and some classical stuff.

Hoping to get some more kit soon and contribute to the forum!

Hi Shari and welcome. It has been a pleasure meeting you this past week during your visits to Saffron Walden.

Hello and welcome from a fellow and quite contented Rega owner.

Sometimes it does feel like a bit of a safe choice when I see other people's rather more exotic systems but then I remind myself of the laws of diminishing returns and expect I'd probably have to spend a lot more for what might ultimately be marginal improvements and that keeps my hands in my pockets for now.

I'm planning a system for a new room and that will be rather more bespoke when it happens but my Rega kit is what it will ultimately have to compare to!

Anyway, on the issue of cables there's a thread here you might find interesting, feel free to add your own thoughts to this or ask any questions.

All the best

Thanks for the welcomes.

I am loving the new system at the moment. Had a trip up to Radlett Audio again last week and managed to talk myself into replacing my RS3 with RS5's and just burning them in, but it sounds like its all coming together now. Love the new bolder presentation, so there will be some stuff in the classifieds going.
