Just posting to see if there would be any interest in my ER Audio Electrostatic speakers on the forums before they possibly go on ebay. I'm considering selling these to fund the purchase of a new pair of speakers.These are a kit,beautifully built in solid English Oak by Colin Topps,who was the UK distributor for this brand in the UK.These are a bespoke pair in that Colin,in collaboration with the designer,fitted a subwoofer to each speaker,powered by an active crossover and a pair of 200w/p/ch Mosfet amp.All this would be included in the sale.I only have one pic at the mo,more will be posted when I get down to Leeds next weekend.

As can be seen from the site,the cost of the kit would be around £1200 pounds plus shipping.You would then of course have to assemble them! The kit does not include the speaker frames,you have to make those yourself,and it does not include the subwoofer,active crossover and monoblock Mosfet amps.Many who have heard both, say they are at least as good,if not better,than any of the current Quads.
I would be looking for around £1200 for these,compare that to the price of Quads! I am open to offers though.
Demo at my flat in Leeds is no problem,though at a weekend only as I live and work in Scotland now.
Due to the size and weight (These are a two-man lift!) collection would be good.I can also deliver with my van,but in any case there is no way I can post these.
