FS: Linn Axis, serviced

Bought this for a project that never got off the ground. It's in good cosmetic condition but there is no arm or lid included.

As many of you know the power supply of these units tends to deteriorate with time and many fail. This unit was showing some symptoms of failure when I got it (slow to get up to speed, mainly) and so it was completely recapped with 105-degree rated capacitors, and it now runs perfectly at 33.3 and 45rpm.

£75 collected, or delivery at cost. I have a transit screw to secure the turntable.

Agree - owned one for several years and auditioned it against the fruit box before purchase.

BTW Stamford Audio are now selling a replacement PS - onboard or separate options.
