Recommend an Amplifier to make Acoustic Energy 120 Speakers sing?

Hi

Boy These are a bitch to drive..my dads using a marantz MR 215 ATM but something is not there its just not HI-FI if you know what i mean. I have heard the Bi wiring or Tri wiring improves them dramatically. What amplifier would you guys recommend does it need a LOT of power ETC. They sound ok but i think more needs to be done :scratch:

Pioneer A400
Pioneer A400X
Denon DRA 326R
Pioneer SX 300
Beolab 5000 Amplifier
Sansui QRX 5500
Akai AA 1030

I do a have a couple of nytech about i may try them. The MF james is in my main system so not really an option.

Budget is 0 ATM as skint literally but if any of the above sound interesting i will use then

Thats better i put an A400X on. suits them better with image & bass they do take a fair bit of welly and im impressed but they still do lack some sparkle at top.

Been spinning a few discs this morning they have warmed up & suit the pioneer down to the ground with plenty of power to drive them with ease.

They pioneer is getting on a bit now its been in the family since new but still going strong
