FU29...although it is called a Audioromy M828A....going to replace them with gu29's ...maybe....dont know if they will be better or not

Typo, that's what I meant. Used to have the 813 version, a decent amp till the mains trannie shorted out.

it wont be getting overworked volume wise and will likely be on for less than 1 hr every couple of days.....so I may get a little longer...... it might last til I'm :deceased:

I've got one, and love it - if just for it's looks. Wanted something different - I could afford.

The American RCA and Russian versions are suppossed to be best. Used in the MIG F15 Fighter.

Looking for a non-working 813.

I have one of these Audioromy amps too, Nice little amp I think. Is being recapped and having the valve connectors replaced at the mo. I should have it back soon and am looking forwarding to firing it up again.

the valve connectors look to be a weak link and I expect them to go first.....will hopefully find someone who will be able to do whatever work i need...I think I will certainly keep it....it looks, sounds good and is the right size for my needs...

one thing i have noticed is if the laptop is plugged into the mains you get interference in the background....it is not overly loud but there....guess I will have to start using the battery with it...must say I never heard anything with the ss amp...must be something about the valves or possibly a lack of filter on the valve amp...???? anyone else noticed this.
