Just sold that amp last week, had it for some time. It's a 22RH591, a real hidden gem that operates in Class A for the first watts. And with Germanium trannies aswell, so that means that you need to take it easy or else...

Now, it's a hefty bass it's got right? Specially with the left bass lever turned down!!! One of the most incredible I ever listened to!

Those Philips '591' are ok.. hard to get one without a bent/dented top tho..

True, luckily mine was pristine... gave it to a dear friend and not sold it as said before. After trying several top of the range vintage receivers (Kenwood, Sansui, etc) this 591 was the only one that could bring his Castle Avon's to life!
