Had a phone call from my eldest sibling today
" Dad , can you come over in your van , we have a fridge to go down the tip ? "
DAD , yes OK I will be over in half and hour
Arrive at destination , load said fridge freezer , about to close the doors , DAD I have a few other bits as well , is it OK to take them , Yes why not
Out comes a door , a double mattress and about 10 bin bags full of rain soaked garbage that has been in the garden for 6 months :doh:
So now I have a van soaking wet inside ( its a camper van ) slugs , snails and spiders :doh:
It gets EVEN worse now !!!!!!!
While at the tip unloading I happen to notice a man unloading 100's of books , throwing them in the general waste , no problem as I read very little , so we carry on unloading from my camper
When nearing the end of unloading I then notice the man with the books is now throwing LP's into the general waste :eek:
A quick word in his ear and the rest ( several 100's ) are now in my camper van DOH !
I was getting VERY disapproving looks from the council workers ;)
What have I done :scratch:
Some obvious shite ( Mrs Mills etc ) will have to sort through them and probably take them back to the tip next week :lol:
