Hi all!
My name is Andreas and I'm from Croatia. I stumbled upon this forum in search of improving my audio system
which consists of Yamaha RX-497 receiver, Wharfedale Vardus speakers and Technics AS100 subwoofer. I have couple
of sources; really nice and mint Dual 522 record player, Sony CDP-710 (TDA1541) also in really mint condition,
Sony CDP-670 (dual PCM56) and Macbook Pro hooked via Toslink to cheap Chinese DAC. All except the Macbook
and receiver was acquired in last couple of months because I moved and left the older stuff to my brother.
It's really surprising how good this setup sounds, especially for its low price. I'm not in search for
nirvana, I like music first and foremost but extracting a bit more performance is always satisfying.
My music library consists of: Death and Black metal (70%), DnB (20%) and Tchaikovsky (10%).
Weather is starting to act up so now I have more time to listen to music properly - loud :)
