Lately I've been listening to: Esbjorn Svensson Trio, HERB ROBERTSON, JP Bourelly, Amina Figarova, Tomasz Stanko Quartet, Nino Katamadze, J.I.BLOOM & F.HERSCH, Eliane Elias, Jacintha, Patricia Barber, Keith Jarret ...


But I also like Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, and I'm probably a little bit miss by such rock, such as Rainbow or Roger Waters.

Those speakers would be the last choice id make to listern to Jazz moosik! Ive always always prefered vintage paper cones for it..

I find that harder tweeter drivers eg metal domes give that sax/trumpet blare/rasp similar to live. I'm not sure I've heard a design specifically aimed at Jazz- surely such a design idea would lose sales rendering low profit ? I'd design for any /all styles.[and within my budget]

Um interesting, i just find things like plastic cones & metal domes just too bright & fast sounding..I like Jazz warm sounding, paper cones have a sound so unlike a plastic cones imho..Hence i feel some speaker are best suited to certain music styles.
