Some nice finds there, Al, and it was great to meet you and Andy!

Rather remarkably, and for the first time since I started going to Audiojumbles quite a few years ago, I didn't buy a thing apart from one LP as nothing really took my fancy.

I must be getting old and sensible.... :(

Not too sure about the rest of your acquisitions Al, but the Series Seven Ferrograph is a nice find and should be treasured.

Check the condition of the speed change idler wheels carefully – there were a lot of problems with early samples going ‘gooey’ with age. Replacements are readily obtainable on eBay.

I have a Series Six machine and although I don’t use it any more, I am reluctant to part with it, as it is a splendid (if slightly idiosyncratic) example of British engineering.

I'm sure when André gets back from holiday, he will give your new acquisition his approval; he's a big Ferrograph fan.

Nope , spent most of the day last year photographing stalls and not buying any kit so this year changed the format

Nice Ferrograph. I use the later, Logic Seven, which is fun. If you need any parts or service, the best guy is probably Geoff Kramer at Service Sound in Turkey Road, Bexhill. He knows these machines inside out.
