Do you have any other "obvious" tips that aren't quite so obvious?

One tip I was given last year was that if you make sandwiches for lunch, use frozen sliced bread (still frozen) and they will stay fresh for much longer.

That is good Lawrence although I would be concerned about the spoon idea because there is bound to be people that manage to cut their mouth's on the sharpness of the tinfoil ... well i'd be stupid enough :lol:

Yes indeed, I injured myself opening a bottle of whisky a few weeks ago - that metal stuff is quite sharp if you're not careful :doh:

At least you had steriliser handy Lawrence.... thought it would be something along the lines of why it is pretty dumb to use fabric conditioner with towels or some such... More a case of lateral thinking and US centric, although it's application for whisky bottles may need some practice....
