The glue on the back of the Velcro like strips, that grip the speaker grilles on my Isobariks is coming away from the cabinets

I'd like to stick them back on as I prefer the look of the grilles to 3 naked drivers

Glue residue is on both the speaker cabinet and back of the Velcro.
Is there is something clever to avoid the cleaning up and removing the glue residue speaker and replacing the Velcro ?

Could you fit some new self adhesive velcro strips ? Alternatively, I have used a thick bead of PVA in the past to reattach old velcro strips.

Think I will have to clean the surface thoroughly first
They are just hanging on now so I'll take a closer look when they fall off

Hehe, why do today what you can put off until tomorrow ? :D

You'll need to scrape it off with a stanley blade or something but if the glue residue is similar to what I encountered I doubt even napalm will get it off :(

Why put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after !

I know it will be long winded and the grilles will be off that time, all looking very untidy
I will find some velcro and glue in advance
