Hi all,
I've decided to join this forum after some searches led me to it, so I figure is best to try to get involved if I can.
I've been a music lover since early youth in the seventies, when my uncle had a turntable and some groovy lps. He was a hippie and introduced me to Led Zep, Black Sabbath, etc.
Ever since, the music I've gravitated around has been classic rock, metal and classical. I listen to classical almost every day, that's my personal time at the end to unwind. An hour of music listening is my daily pamper.

My current system is Bryston 4BSST2 power amp, Bryston BP-26 pre, Bryston BDA-1 dac, logitech squeezebox touch with EDO module, Linn Genki CD player,B&W 805 S speakers. All interconnects are Chord.
Currently I'm using a Lyngdorf RP-1 room correction system for a try. I think I prefer the sound without it.
So hi everyone.

Hi Marden,

I share your taste in a cocktail of classic rock and classical - who are your favourite classical composers?

Apologies for the late reply. I'm listening a lot to classicfm these days, they have a pretty good list from 10 pm.
I particularly like Rachmaninov, Barber, Arvo Part and some Bach. My favourite instrument is cello, but is really hard to find soulful cello where the piano is not the main instrument.
