Now I know you will say that it forking well should, but she never has admitted that!

We even spent time last night listening to some of her favourites songs. :eyebrows:

Strangely she wasn't bothered about sitting in "the sweet spot" so I believe I am safe, at least for now.
This must be a step forward as for years she has always insisted her old Amstrad stack was superior to my stuff.

That's fantastic Craig, I am really pleased for you both. In many ways my Jo is responsible for reigniting my interest in hifi after a chance remark in a convo we were having about her first flat, in which she mentioned a 100wpc Technics stack system complete with huge 3 way speakers which was given to her by an uncle and aunt, and things developed from there ;)

Quite a democratic household at my place, we all get a bit of air time. My son has a lovely cast off system of mine that tends to get played a bit too loud.
I don't mind a bit of Kylie or George Micheal......but within reason!!!!! Always a good sign when I have to ask her to stop singing along or sit down and stop dancing a bit of Ella or Eddie Reader de-escalates the situation nicely.

My wife still insists that she preferred her old Sony mini-system (which was stolen :steam:) than any of my hi-fi systems ...
I have never got my head round it - sure, the Sony was a nice little system and was easier to use perhaps, but she says it sounded better!
