Irony watching TV programmes

You know how you sometimes stay up a bit later just to see the complete programme as it is so good, like the BBC one on Detroit recently

I guess we are talking about iPlayer here Mike. Once upon a time iPlayer was possibly the best quality catchup TV service out there in regards to reliability. What happened? These days it's stuttery, bitty ... it tells you there is 'not enough bandwidth to play this program' even though the internet connection is rocketing along at 32mb/s. Quite frankly it is crap now. As for programs that stop streaming suddenly, when a show has reached the end of its airing period on iPlayer it is removed automatically from the system sometime between midnight and 2am in the morning. This happened to me a couple of months ago when I was watching No Country For Old Men, which was very frustrating as I was really enjoying the film :rolleyes:

This is your standard BBC, 4 possibly.
Often bad as is Channel 4

iPlayer would be good for us, and I often catch the ends at work
2 reasons I don't though
1. We can't stream at home
2. Often watch the recording after iPlayer dropped it
