Like Handwash, Shower Gel, Bleach! Air Fresheners......
My wife seems to think that these synthetic products are the best thing since sliced bread. I can't stand them. We have a "Strawberry" handwash in the cloakroom at the moment. The smell is putrid, smells nothing like strawberries, and to my nose has a nasty acrid backnote that sticks in your throat. I deliver to a business locally where they seem to have two of the plug-in type air-fresheners that are competing to be the first to asphyxiate an innocent customer. As if one is not enough. The smell really is diabolical.

My wife bought some ''strawberry'' air freshener. Talk about horrible smell, it's awful, smells like a dead rat.

I use a yogurt based moisturising cream from Avon (I suffer from mild psoriasis) which comes in various fruit 'flavours' and they all smell good enough to eat...

Those air fresheners smell foul to me too. But then I like the smell of stale beer, petrol fumes and tobacco smoke so I'm probably not the best person to pass judgement.

it could be worse. She might buy you some Sécrétions Magnifique cologne for Christmas. Here's what the manufacturer says in their descriptor:

"With notes of blood, sweat, saliva, and sperm, Sécrétions Magnifique has received a reputation as the most controversial scent on the market. Fragrance blogger Katie Puckrik calls it “the perfume equivalent of a whoopee cushion.” Antoine Le at Fragrantica.com, however, pronounces it “as real as an olfactory coitus that sends one into raptures.” I guess, like pheromones, it either works for you or it doesn’t
