Newbie from London

Hi All ,

I have been scanning here for a while. I'm a long standing member of Pass Diy and Lansing Heritage . I have no formal electrical training ,but have been involved with music industry for 30 yrs .

I would call my interest a hobby ( those around me would use the word " obsession ") Most of my system is DIY , Speakers are DIY 2-way based on the JBL K2 , Amps are Pass Labs clones , Aleph 30 , XA 160 mono blocks . Pre is a Pass Labs B1 clone , Phono Stage is a Pearl 2 , also diy, Technics 1200 Mk2 ( modding this at present )
DAC is a M2 tech young and a Mac Book Pro ,iTunes , Spotify - using Bit perfect .
I have specialised in the refurbishment and cloning of Vintage JBL studio monitors internationally for the past 10 years ..... Google - richluvsound and you can check out some of my projects.

I'm a trained cabinet maker ,boat builder , I have a degree in Fine Art and Paint professionally ( when not messing around with sound )

I have been very fortunate to have met the folks I have through forums such as these . The exchange of experience has enriched my life beyond measure. I hope to continue here on Art Of Sound ..... thanks for having me ;)
