My Record Cleaner is the best

I was cleaning a dozen records this weekend when Fatty (that's her name) comes along and starts licking the records. I went off and got my camera and she was still at it - hence the photo. Fatty is a well-adjusted cat but there was cleaning fluid in the water! Waddayareckon?

Be careful what's in that record cleaner as cats seem to like the taste of things like Ethylene glycol for some reason however it is lethal as you may know..

It's probably isopropyl alcohol with a bit of 'wetting agent'. Neither are particularly good for you, or cats!

Update: I checked to see if there was any skull and crossbones on the label of the cleaning fluid - all good and Fatty is her normal annoying self.
The record cleaner works well. I give it about 20 spins, dry, a blast from the Anti Static gun, then into a new inner sleve. It is surprising how dirty the water gets after just a dozen LPs. More important the LPs do sound better.

Unfortunately not, as Tabatha is currently abroad 'on business', and has taken her laptop, containing the relevant image, with her. However, by way of recompense, I can assist with some pictorial evidence, showing the aftermath from that session and two of Tabatha's friends, Tiffany and Alexis, in the process of 'cleaning' each other:

There is a sort of connection of vintage bikes to vintage Hi-Fi. That old girl is quite a pleasure to ride, it makes a nice sound as you travel along, it gets the job done very well thank you, and I kind of like its looks. It is not as good as a modern road bike, but sometimes it is not all about absolute performance. Maybe we should upgrade the break and gear wiring. Cardas or Nordost?

I have to admit that I had to resort to Google to find Zanelli. Great to see a classic steel bike in regular use.
