Price of bus fares you don't save anything going there..

Really funny (and thanks for sharing), but utterly divorced from reality! We shop regularly at Lidl

We do so simply because the quality (mainly fresh) produce there is far better (and yes, cheaper) than that of any other supermarket, save perhaps Waitrose, in terms of quality. Also, anything of genuine German origin is usually fantastic, especially the beer!

The reality is that there are far more chavs to be found shopping in Asda or Farmfoods!! The car park in Lidl is full of Mercs and BMWs and people with money who have sussed how superb certain things are, without having to pay M&S inflated prices for it (at least round here that's how it is)! :ner:

Hey i witnessed something unbelievable a while back, someone transfering all the Lidl shopping into Sainsbury carrier bags before putting them in the boot of their posh car! well at the end of the day what on earth would their neighbours say if they knew the shopping was from Lidl  To me Lidl is something special for such good quality fresh low price produce.

I for one can't stand all this snooty crap. If i were lucky enough to come up on the lottery i would still shop there & would still dress like a tramp.

Hahahaha... Pretentious TOSSERS!! :wanker: I care not a jot about what 'make' of shopping bags I come home with. Quite simply, those who do are ill.

Aye, dude, nowt wrong with Lidl. Snapper and me often wander around there in our joggers and slippers :D

Any pickkies :eyebrows:

I would kind of understand if they had took the food out to the car straight from the trolley & all they had were the sainsbury bags, but the food was in Lidl carrier bags so it's obvious what was going on.. It did however puzzle me why they went to the effort of putting them in Lidl bags in the first place! or was it an effort not to make it obvious to others, well old eagle eyes noticed

Some people I know have their parents to shop for them because they don't want to be seen there... nuts.

Personally I don't shop there but have done and the food is great. Now I'm much more superior than the lot of you as I now shop at Waitrose, fnah, fnah.. This is because the Bentley wouldn't fit in the spaces at Aldi and they don't sell the wifes handbag chihuahua's favorite choccie nibbles.

One should strive to be seen in the Waitrose car park, it's so choice!...

Any pickkies

Yes, but they're not deemed as being 'work-safe', :D :eyebrows:

Perhaps they forgot to take the Sainsbury's carrier bags with them into Lidl, and so at the check-out, just needed some bags to put their shopping into, but the only bags available were Lidl ones?

The comedy starts of course when, in order to ensure that they weren't subjected to the horror of being seen removing Lidl bags from the Volvo, by 'Doreen and Harry', back home, their shopping was quickly hidden inside Sainsbury's ones in advance!

The really funny thing here of course is thinking in the first place that Sainsbury's was 'posh'!!! Only a clueless chav would think that!  :mental:
