I do. I use it for looking at and for jobs - recently had a 2nd interview for a role I applied for on LinkedIn and also find it good for business networking and recommendations are also pretty useful because they inform potential customer, clients, employers that you are possibly not all talk :)

One of our customers told me he had his last 2 jobs from Linkedin so it seems to work for individuals.
I've been told that Linkedin can bring in business, which I would like ! for my printing company
I'm still not sure but I'm persevering
To my surprise I was just asked to connect to someone I don't know who is in the one of the niche markets we work in - so looking better.
I don't connect to people I don't know where we have no reason to connect
