Technics SL110

Just found one in my workshop when I was looking for an arm! Is it worth pimping this up as it's not in very good shape?

What's the performance like compared to to other Techy's and other TT's in general?

In terms of performance i have no idea.
In terms of looks it is far better than the other technics imo.

They do look well made.

It has a decent motor but it's less torquey than an SL-1200/SP10 and is also not quartz locked. The main weakness however is the plinth, which is a bit flimsy and rather resonant. That said, I have one and it is fitted with an SME3009 and a Shure V15III.

Is it the greatest turntable in the world? No.
Is it the best sounding turntable I own? No.
Does it sound "nice"? Yes.
Does it look awesome? Oh yes!
