Simple & high quality system you have!! How are you finding the Naim CD Player?

Yes i am very pleased i waited a while and got the finish i wanted which is Pioneer oak. When i first got them they sounded awful. I was really worried. They take for ever to burn in and to be honest i think they still are. That said, i think they sound wonderful and i absolutely love em. It was a toss up between these or the Dancer Mini 0ne which are also an amazing speaker. I would love to try an Usher amp across them.

The Naim CD player is a Ronseal job Shane. It does what it says on the tin. Fuss free, simple to use and sounds cracking. A highly musical disc spinner. I haven't heard anything near the price that sounds anywhere near as good.

I'd agree with this H, there is something very special about Naim CD Players :)

You should have used a brush - it's goes on lumpy if you just pour it.

Yup, stacked platters look and sound good imho. All you need is another platter and a spindle extention.

Sorry to lower the tone a bit, but did you add the spikes to the bases?

Made a noticeable difference to mine, might do for you, given they are on carpet (if you ain't already tried).

Surprisingly well indeed Mike. In fact the Lenco has made me very sceptical about hi-end hi-fi. I wanted a cheap and cheerful tt for playing singles on so i didn't have to keep playing the belt over on the Notts. I didn't want to Play some of my old 7" jobbies on my MC cartridge with it's fine diamond and cantilever. As it is at the moment i listen to some of my LP's on the Lenco too. It's a music machine whilst the Nott's is very refined. I love them both but the Lenco is fun and definately a work in progress. I plann on getting another platter and spindle extention.

The Lenco's does have a drive and high "involvement-factor". I have still to hear any of the Nottingham Analogue's bigger kit, so i'll take your word for it :)
