Courtesy of Russ Collinson, my new Autograph cabs with my existing 15in MGs inside have arrived.
Crossovers from my GRFs are nearer than you'd think thanks to the TVC-type arrangement installed by Nick G in place of the original L-pad, but I think a little tweaking will be in order to get the balance spot on (treble is very slightly subdued even on the highest treble setting).
Still moving in really (moved house on 22nd), so it will be a week or two till I can get into measurements and so on. It's close enough for now.
They look absolutely stunning - finish is oiled cherry, black grilles. Apologies for the quality of the pics.
Main difference over the GRFs (many many similarities as you'd expect) is the utterly effortless quality of the low bass with the richness of the low level information that goes with that, yet without the artificial thumpiness of your average ported box. I know already even before tweaking the crossovers that these cabs are everything I hoped they would be and more.
Incredibly efficient, volume knob is round far less than before. Might just try out a decent SET to see what the result is.
