LittleDiode sell genuine parts but can be flipping expensive... http://www.littlediode.com/product.php?productid=105786

OPA2134 is also quite good http://www.littlediode.com/components/OPA2134PA.html

... Very odd, They are nearly half the price from their eBay shop  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OPA2604AP-Integrated-Circuit-x-1-pieces-/160937544568?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Suppl ies_ET&hash=item2578a00b78

There is no doubt of either of those suppliers selling anything but genuine. (That particular opamp is a current TI product, genuine should be no issue, really...)

Thanks you lot i have got one.

James: i cannot take modern electronics with op amps serious it just not my bag, hence i would not pay that much for something like that..This Headphone amp thing is only to use with the laptop & HRT streamer whilst online..

James,

The quality of the soldering on that module looks shocking!. I'd be embarassed to offer something with hand-soldered joints looking that bad...

Nah its not too bad considering... I've seen far worse on pre-assembled amplifier modules from China. I suspect they'd be happy to supply the unpopulated boards for the buyer to solder him/herself.

I'm toying with the idea of trying one as the Burson equivalent is £80.

Do you mean the Burson opamps? I got some that I need to get rid of.

Hi Stan,
I might be interested in up to 3 of these myself. Can you advise me of the price please?
Dave.

Hi Dave, email me when you got time. I have to dig out the parts holding bins to search for the containers that the opamps came in and are stored in. I only have two though.

I don't see the point in "discrete" op amps, they're still op amps... with a quality IC you get far far far better 'component' matching, much shorter signal paths and better thermal tracking.

I'm yet to hear one in action so cant really comment... I would never consider spending £80 on an 'opamp' discrete or otherwise but those £30 ones did make me curious.
