Mark Grant cables

Hi, I'm thinking about getting so MG cables digital coax and a pair of interconnects. Interconnects are £50 and coax is £25, these cables look very nice indeed but I just wondered how these would compare to a similar priced set from say Audioquest which is what I'm using in my system at the moment.

If your buying cables because they look nice, don't do it. IMHO digital cables have little effect but analogue interconnects seem to be able to make a difference. So instead of buying both cables, why not ditch the digital and add the money to the analogue. £75 can get you a good sounding interconnect.

Jason, I am sure you can buy direct from the website. I've just had a look and notice you can even use PayPal. They have a good reputation so I think it would be safe buying direct.

My own recommendation would be for The Missing Links "The Silver Surfer MkII" at £72 for 0.5m or £102 for 1m. This is a great value for money cable. You don't really need to spend extra on the plugs but I have found that the Eichmann Bullet Plugs do improve the sound by a small degree.

I purchased direct from Marks website

I would also say I don't think you can buy any better cable for the money. I purchased a G2000HD with silver WBT fittings and it is an absolutely superb cable, I also tried the G1500HD and again for the money it was superb, you will not buy better

And to top it all off Mark is an absolutely super chap to deal with

You will not go wrong
