Rega arm

Will a rb300 tone arm fit straight into/onto a revolver TT or what would be needed? Its not a rebel but the one up from that. Cheers all

They do indeed Nigel.

I currently run a Revolver "The Turntable", the one you have Dan and it is a more than capable TT but it is definitely Linn geometry. The LVX is a decent enough arm and can support a reasonable cart.

I have both Dave a rega p3 and a revolver but no arm on the revolver

Ok only one hole definetley not 3 little holes around the main hole

Didn't later models have a Jelco made arm? If so, the generic black straight-tube models were pretty good, far better than an LVX and at least as good as the Basik Plus. I wonder if the modern equivalent would just 'drop in?'

Yep think it had one of those arms in,so looks like im on the look out for a jelco arm :/

In that case,, then the Systemdek and AR ones would probably fit wouldn't they? Maybe the so-called 'Zeta Junior' that was on The Oak turntable would work too?

The later models came with a Revolver arm, a Revolver badged Jelco 250ST. Any of the generic Jelco straight arm derivatives (there are many) will just drop in.

They were also OEM supplied with Basik LVX arms, with some dealers offering the Basik Plus upgrade from new.

OMG. Simply do the necessary basic, and it is basic, geometry to work out if the Rega arm will fit. If it doesn't, work out what you need to do to the armboard to allow it to work correctly. That might of course require a replacement armboard. It really isn't difficult. If you don't have the knowledge, a simple google search will point you in the direction you need.

Greg is right. Within some extreme limits, you can fit any arm on any TT if you have the patience, a bit of confidence and practical ability and the correct info.
