Hi Guys,

Due to changing the pot in my Croft preamp I now have the above for sale.

It is less than six months old (being part of the upgrades I had done to the Croft by Glenn recently) and is a genuine example - there are so many fakes around of these on the Internet!

The genuine ones are quite hard to find, and the Black Beauty is arguably one of the best carbon pots one can buy.

All realistic offers considered. If you're interested please either PM me or email me at: framed6images@aol.com

Cheers!

Marco.

Very good pots these!

A general question to anyone 'in the know'... how can one tell if it's genuine or not?

I only ask because I've got one myself. :)

Sorry for the hijack Marco, have a 'bump' on me. ;)

Good as it is, stepped attenuators are better...

Best log pot i ever used is the Sfernice 'PII' Linear Cermet pot with Vishay 'VSR' Law faking resistor soldered between wiper & ground on each channel.Linears have a cleaner sound than Logs, LFR will give you the control at low levels the Lin can't give on it's own.

I think Naim used .Black Beauties'
