Do any of you lot suffer from dreadful sleep pattern?
Apart from poor sleep pattern I have suffered from Sleep paralysis for as long as i remember..Anyone unfamiliar with it:

Any hoots i don't suffer from it every night but when i do it's the same scenario every time i distinctly see or feel a woman's hand trying to pull me from the bed, sometime from the side of the bed, sometimes her hand around my ankle, sometime pulling at the duvet! This may not seem a big deal but within my sleep this is actually an horrific feeling & as you know with Sleep paralysis you are totally helpless. The wife often comments that she can hear me screaming but im totally still :scratch:
I use to heavily booze at one period which used to bring this on a more regular basis, but i don't think it's the drink that brings it on but the drinking messing with my sleep pattern that may help it on.. I had an episode last night which when i did eventually awake from my dream, i was scared shit-less & never got back to sleep afterwards..
Now my OCD involves checking under the bed , in the wardrobe to see if anyone's in there, you name it up to an half a dozen times over & over before i do settle down to sleep.. whether or not,this has any bearing on the dream, stemming from these bad episodes or the bad episodes making me do what i do before sleep i have no idea. but it's a thing i have learned to live with all this for years, it should get less frightening when it happens but never is..
I would love to hear from anyone who does suffer from Sleep paralysis but have never bumped into anyone yet..
