Flied Egg

Somewhere in the 90's between moving houses I managed to lose my vinyl collection so I recently embarked on starting over but this time with CD's.
Trouble was - they sounded awful.
However I persevered and got a Bravo tube headphone amp which improved the sound really well - and then found out that it could be modified to sound even better:).
So after a quick bit of soldering and desoldering practice in went some new mosfets and pots and I was hooked on the whole upgrade lark.
Currently have built a Tda 1543 DIR9001 DAC kit with mods suggested here and a hard wired Tda1543 CS8412 DAC with separate psu's the analogue and digital sections.
Not bad for someone who didn't know what a capacitor was 8 weeks ago!
