Good Morning!
My name is Mike. I currently live in Chanute Kansas though I grew up in Texas so the whole spectrum of the Texas tradition from Bob Wills to Townes to SRV is in my blood.
I am a 54 year old nursing student (to try to give back).
We just had our 25th anniversary.

I love all sorts of music from Ginastera to Hendrix and from Nanci Griffith to Miles.
When I am pressed to admit an all time favorite album I used to go with Selling England By The Pound but its been shifting toward much simpler stuff for a while now.
Lately I can't stop listening to Madeleine Peyroux.
I tend to hate TV with few exceptions.

Current and long time system:
Rotel 1075
Rotel 1098
Klipsch KT LCR THX surround set up as 5 channel stereo.
Boston Acoustics sub
Sony S530D dvd w/ DAC

My dream system which I intend to realize within five years:
Whatever max level of Tannoy Prestige and Sophia Electric I can talk the wife into.
Preferably built around the Westminster Royals and hopefully by then the current state of the art tweaks (ie: DueLund crossovers etc) will be easily available as a complete kit.
I joined this forum to expand my database of this specific knowledge.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Michael
I don't welcome many people because i feel their introductions are too much trouble, hence they aint worth bothering with, but your intro seems a genuine one, so welcome again from me.
