Got my control box back, started going thru everything again with same result. decided to remove the tonearm & discovered one of leads to the fixed female RCA connection was broken but touching. Took it to the Dr, who prescribed the appropriate medicine & miracles do occur as it singing like a nightingale again. Now that I can listen to the music from the main system again, instead of from the side thru the power speakers, the difference is well worth all the effort & cost. Thanks for the input from those that replied.
