A member of my household is doing a travel agents course and I'm pretty amazed how Hong Kong seems to have changed since I was there in the mid 80s. Just for fun, and also to see how accurate the travel books are, what have the AOS members liked most about the place and areas nearby?
Also, most of the worlds hifi is now manufactured just over the border in China so the area does have significanse to us audio obsessed people. Much as I'd like to call in and have tea and Yum Cha with Peter Comeau I doubt that IAG does factory visits, but is there anything audio related that we do have access to other than just browsing the shops?
The place seems to have expanded massively since I was there and lugged home 25kls of Luxman gear (was going great till I hit customs, but still came out ahead), so if I was planning a trip, which I'd love to do, what do you suggest I do/see?

Whilst filming in Hong Kong I very much enjoyed my trip to Po Lin Monastery on Lantau Island - well worth the short trip ...

I also loved the street markets in Kowloon which are great fun ...
