Ive noticed some Van Damme cable called Silver Session grade instrument cable in three capacitance models {55pF,90pF,125pF per mtr} looks promising in nice diameter cable that will fit most Phono connectors...

Silver plated copper can sound good, but it definitely has a tendency towards brightness, often with coarseness too. I've found this with a number of cables.

I think i'l order a bit of that make a pair up see what comes of it, Being Ag plated OFC i think i'll opt for the 90pF version.. Ive got a phono socket modification to fit to the SME '3009' next week & will need a new pair of Interconnects for the arm anyway..

They look rather stiff André. Not a good idea if you are using your SME arm on a floating chassis turntable.

No bouncy Bouncy here Barry. hence the stiffness is not an issue. I have even removed the springy 'Focus 1' feet & fitted 'Gyrodec' conical's not that hat would be an issue anyway :eyebrows:
