Does anyone know anything of these?

Or can someone recommend something better
Thanks
hi James. I note that the binding posts you link to are copper plated whereas the conductors in these (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4PCS-CMC-858-S-CU-R-7N-Pure-Copper-Speaker-Binding-POST/220776855593?rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222002%26algo%3DSIC.FIT%26ao%3D1%2 6asc%3D286%26meid%3D639960356179512636%26pid%3D100 005%26prg%3D1048%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D5%26sd%3D3205875 03294%26) are solid copper ;)

I hadn't spotted they were only plated, well done mate.
I wonder if the solid copper binding posts are any good?

That seems very expensive. I've got a load of the gold plated version of these. They cost me about a fiver for four. The connectors are OK but nothing special design wise in my opinion. You just know the plastic outer ring will break sooner or later.
Have a look at these, they are cheap and pretty good. I've used them a few times: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190872402143?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649
As you can see I've just ordered more.

Thanks Geoff, I presume these are gold plated brass? I have a dislike for brass presuming it's not the best conductor in the world, I know I'm just being a fussy bugger.

If it were brass wire you might have a concern, but the sectional area of the connectors is big enough for conductivity not to be an issue at all. You are after all only looking at a very short distance anyway. There's plenty of data about to qualify this.

No need for the data, I'll take your word for it.

Yup, I've used the one's Geoff linked to dozens of times - They aren't the last word in precision engineering but easily the best second choice after the silly money WBT/Cardas/CMC.
