I am looking for 2 x 3.5 metre lengths of QED 79 strand type speaker cables, preferably in black and unterminated. No exotic overpriced cables, thank you. M G Miles .

I'd just pop into your local Richer Sounds. Their new stuff off the reel is peanuts but they always have off cuts and ex dem cables going silly cheap. Some of the most helpful staff I've dealt with too. Good across all branches I've visited.

Why are you after this cable? I didn't find it very good.

I'm not a fan either ! Get down to your old fashioned local hardware shop for some of that orange lawnmower extension cable.

If buying new "audio grade" stuff I'd be looking at Van Damme 2.5mm or Cable Talk 3.
