Hello All,
My name is Leonardo, I live in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
A friend told me about this place when I was researching about Mark Grant cables. This place seems familiar, although the physical distance from me.
I have 100% stereo set-up (2.1), with Cambridge Audio CD Player as transport, LF-II DAC, Audiopax M88 monoblocks, Audiopax M5SE preamp, M&K subwoofer and Lowther PM7A fullranges speakers in open baffle (TOA from lowther-america).

Welcome Leonardo,

Bit of a distance from the majority of us but as this is an online forum, all good :)

This place is a wealth of knowledge I'm sure you'll find useful. What sort of music do you play?

Thanks Paul,
What I play here is basically modern jazz. Sometimes classical, rock and eletro.

Hi Leonardo and it's always nice to finally say hello to someone who's been a member for a while!
That's a really nice looking system you have there.
I wonder if you could do a little housekeeping job for us though? If you could amend your user profile to show your first name and location, that would be great. We find it helps to create a more friendly community.

Thanks a lot in advance.
Cheers

I am loving the speakers Leonardo, are they specially hand built or did you buy them like that?

Also, looks as though you have a dedicated room, is that the case?

Paul.

Paul,
I built the baffles by myself, with the help of a woodworker friend, I love the sound of these Lowther models, they are a perfect match for my single ended mono blocks.
The room is dedicated, with many acoustic treatment focused on bass trapping.

Hi Leonard

What a great music system you have there. No one picked up on your amps yet.
The Audiopax pre and more so the power amps are really something very special indeed.
They are not inexpensive but utterly fantastic/musical/engaging/enjoyable and lots of other descriptive words too.
I have heard and listened to these amps in my own system and a mates on a lot of occasions and think these are brilliant amps.
A very envious SDDW here in the UK.
Have fun here.
