Selling my Yaqin 6J1 valve buffer amplifier. Good working order and in pretty tidy condition. Open to sensible offers. Post at buyer's cost.

Bit of a bump!

Nobody interested yet? It's quite an effective unit and definitely imparts a bit of 'analogueyness' :) to digital replay.

Totally confused here  what does it do? do you need a separate amplifier?

they improve impedence mismatching between some cd players and amplifiers, but are often used just to flavour the signal a bit and give cds a bit of that valve analogue touch...very useful in both cases but not everyones cup of tea.

Great to tame strident top-ends or tame over harsh "digitalness" a bit.

Effective at what they do.

It would help if you put a figure on it Geoff. even though I understand it's a tricky one to calculate.

Just looked on fleabay and they are around £80 - £90 new with free postage from china, which is lower now than the last time I looked :(
