Spotted this on ebay...this has got to be a bargain for someone with connoisseur gear...

Don't bother. It's not a good arm!

Many of these have passed through my hands and I don't like them, the dual, diagonal gimbal bearings cause the cartridge/stylus to twist from vertical as the arm traverses a record, totally cocking up the azimuth and producing groove wear in strange places.

I would not give a fiver for one (not to mention that they were a only tenner new).

Indeed I recently picked up a BD1 in plinth, with an AT 1005 MkII arm ... actually sounds rather nice.

They do, i still have one, i know the platter is tiny but it's very well made.. I like the mat aswell.
