Technics 270C cartrige ?

I have one of these although I haven't used it for years, the stylus is now broken. I can't recall where I got it from, think it may have been a freebie from someone.

Anyway, from memory, it certainly bettered both the cheap Ortofon and the Audio Technica AT95 that I had owned previously. It was far more expressive, detailed and lively. I remember being particularly enamoured by the extra information I could hear in the high frequencies. My memory tells me that it was good in the low frequencies too, possibly mids a little recessed. I remember that I liked it because it was a definite step up from the Audio Technica.

I really could not say how it might compare to more exotic cartridges as I only ever really compared it to those budget ones. I re-iterate that this is all from memeory, the last time I actually heard it was probably 6 or 7 years ago.
