My father owns Magneplanar 1.7 speakers which are very, very good!!! I can imagine these also sounding good!

Indeed Shane they are the made with the same materials apparently, only less of them of course. Ive heard the 1.7s also but were just too big for my room. I have now got a pair of MG12s which seem to be a good compromise - MMGs are a great way to try the planar sound at a reasonable price...
