Here is my temp setup - well temporary in the fact that it has been like this for a couple of years and will be so for now because I don’t have any space to set up my other system (Icon Audio Stereo 40i / LV Auditoriums).


Setup : FLAC -> Synology DS413j NAS -> SB Touch -> CA DacMagic -> Woo Audio 6 -> Senn HD650 -> me :rock:

It is a humble little setup compared to most but it suits me just fine. I have a nice comfy rocking chair courtesy of my late gran and space to put my tea so I spend many an hour sitting here just letting the world pass me by.

it for dusting between the valves :)

Nice system Graham. How well do the Sennheiser's work with the Valve Headphone amp?

Well I think they are a great combination.

I did some research on Head-Fi before and then borrowed some HD650's from a mate to try them 1st - liked the combination and have had it for a few years now.

The only upgrade I did was to get the big fat Sophia Electric Princess valve - again based on recomendation and also cos it looks like a bastard when all lit up :stalks:

That's a nice little set up Graham, I've never been interested in headphone amps but I can now see why people are very nice:)

It was driven out of necessity really because, due to the lack of space at home (we run a business from home and most places are taken up with stock), I had to put the speaker setup into storage for the moment but will get it back out as soon as possible.

Needs must if I want money to buy new music :D
